Welcome to the Ashwood High School 1964-1969 Archive

I was a student at Ashwood High School from 1964 to 1969.

This archive arose out of a meeting in 2008 and as I had the IT capacity I became the archiver.

This WWW resource is in response to many requests to start an archive of the materials that are available (photos, certificates, documents etc) from that period so as we can share them with those who no longer have access to these resources.

I will document and create links to any graphic, text or photographic materials that I am sent. If you want to help then please send me the resources by E-mail.

While I am mostly interested in the 1969 matriculating cohort, I will post information for other years.

Photos are now available for Form 6A, 1966; Form 6, 1965, and Form 5A, 1964.

History:

A catch-up for the 1969 class and others during the School's 50th anniversary celebrations (March 1, 2008) was held at the school.

There was a desire expressed to make it more regular and broaden our network - in that vein, I agreed to compile a database of contacts. Please send me any contact details so I can add you to the list.

Lots of resources are out there - old photos (I am also compiling Ashwood Primary School data); school magazines; certificates etc. Please scan anything you have in jpg or png format if possible and E-mail it to me (E-mail address via contact).

Projects

1. Create a mailing list (DISCONTINUED due to low traffic).

2. Create a password protected contacts database (DISCONTINUED due to lack of SQL calls).

3. Extend and make available the archived materials (CONTINUING infrequently).
